Position: Security Guard - Overnight
Division: Central Services
Program: Crisis Housing
General Description: Provide service of maintaining client and building security on a nightly basis, between the hours of 4 p.m. and 8 a.m. Includes making client bed checks periodically, hourly rounds of facility, checking front desk log book for instructions, monitoring resident behavior/interactions and logging observations, enforcing facility rules.
Preferred Qualifications: Two years experience in Security/Criminal Justice system or related field. Associates Degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred. Current Red Cross First Aide Card and valid NYS Driver’s License. NYS Security License required.
Minimum Qualifications: Two years Experience working in Criminal Justice system or related field. High School Diploma. Clean & Valid NYS Driver’s License. NYS Security License required.
Hours: Full-Time
Salary Range: $36,000 - $44,000, annually.
Grade Level: 4
