Have a high school diploma or GED
The main job responsibilities that you should be familiar with as a Bindery machine operator:
Learn the basic operation of the machine, including all safety features
Handle basic troubleshooting of machine issues to maintain production
Perform machine quality checks as required
Separate materials correctly per instructions
The main job responsibilities that you should be familiar with as an Insert operator:
Comprehend quality review requirements and execute them properly
Learn to fix minor machine issues and restart the machine when necessary
Ensure there is sufficient material at the machine so production can continue seamlessly
Follow USPS sorting regulations for creating bundles/trays/pallets
