Citigroup Transformation Cross Program Lead, Accountability, Culture & Talent - C15 - NEW YORK in New York, New York

The Transformation Cross Program Lead will be part of the Accountability, Culture, and Talent (ACT) Transformation Lead team, which sits within the Office of the Chief Operating Officer (“COO”), and provides first-line challenge, advisory support, and oversight over specific Citi regulatory remediation and cross-company programs related to Citi’s Transformation.

The ACT Program Group is responsible for strengthening Citi’s culture to support risk management and control, credible challenge and collaboration, while also assessing staff resources, skill, and expertise to execute and sustain a safe and sound system of internal controls and management.

This position will support the ACT Transformation Lead, who is responsible for the independent challenge, evaluation, and Quality Control (“QC”) of the scope, design, and execution of specific regulatory commitments, which will enable successful execution and delivery, as well as both reduce risk and demonstrate improved organizational controls. The successful candidate will drive effective delivery of the specific regulatory remediation plans by helping ensure that the work delivered meets the spirit and requirements of the applicable commitments, provide best practices and collaborative solutions for cross-transformation program engagement, and facilitate timely and accurate reporting, both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Review of key remediation designs, implementation efforts, and documentation, which will require:

  • an understanding of the key deliverables and the associated dependencies;

  • the ability to provide a review and challenge view of potential risks associated with program strategy, approach, processes, tools, and outcomes on a technical/detailed level;

  • monitoring, interpreting, and reacting to emerging regulatory guidance or feedback; and

  • ensuring clear timely escalation of any concerns through appropriate channels.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance and strengthen controls in a way that enhance risk management and oversight.

  • Partner with other Program Groups and functions to help manage project dependencies and elements of the work that impact different geographical and/or functional areas.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationship with key stakeholders in Human Resources and the COO.

  • Collaborate with cross functional partners, such as Internal Audit, ORM, Legal, and both regional and business/function stakeholders, when assessing the quality of deliverables and associated artifacts and providing credible challenge.

  • Provide best practices and collaborative solutions for cross-transformation program engagement.

  • Facilitate timely and accurate reporting, both internal and external, and provide support in the production of regulatory reports and updates for Board Committees and Senior Management

  • Participate in and present at governance forums to provide a view on progress, risks, and concerns.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Significant experience (12+ years) in financial services and/or Audit, Risk & Controls, Regulatory, or Consulting roles. Experience working in or evaluation of Independent Compliance a plus.

  • Ability to inspire trust, influence others, promote collaboration and motivate with demonstrated ability to work with all levels of internal and external management.

  • Lead by example and demonstrate strong influential and interpersonal skills, used to deliver results.

  • Strong ability to engage at the senior management level and demonstrated communication experience at different levels of organization.

  • Track record of managing and reviewing large projects in complex regulatory environments.

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional organization and balance strategic priorities with tactical actions.

  • Demonstrated history of seeing the big picture, driving change, and managing for results while executing against multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of Citi products, functions, data requirements, operations and technology solutions and an understanding of the challenges associated with the systems and data.

  • Experienced in driving change in a multi-country or global scope, ability to manage cultural differences and champion diversity

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
