Industrial Color Studio & Equipment Coordinator in New York, New York
Industrial Color, a division of CoCreativ, is looking for an experienced Photo Studio & Equipment Coordinator who will be responsible for executing studio prep, lighting setup, equipment prep / maintenance (lighting/grip/camera/digital), equipment check in and check out, among other daily studio operation needs. You will have prior experience in a studio, equipment room, and/or on set assistant. This role is physically active, desk time is minimal and limited to light administrative work. The role is onsite at our client in midtown Manhattan and as well as our location in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
Responsibilities:
Studio Maintenance and Daily Studio Prep/Reset; Including active set days and dark day projects
Maintain functionality and overall cleanliness of On Site Equipment Room; Check in/out rentals
Pack/ Deliver Studio Jobs On Site;
Set Studio for Full Production, all items (Photography/VIdeo, Capture, Styling, Production, Cyc)
Maintain functionality and overall cleanliness of Studios and In Studio Services (Supplies)
Maintain a spotless equipment room and studio
Requirements
1 - 3 years in a Studio, Equipment environment; on set experience
Ability to set up lighting diagram, paint cyc
Present selt professionally to client and crews
Knowledge of lighting techniques and Profoto equipment; Ability to work with/learn Broncolor, Ari, and other lighting brands
Simple Set Build Skills (Quick Set Changes - Walls, Backdrops, etc.)
Interest in photography trends and emerging equipment, camera systems
Proficient with Google Suite of Apps
Ability to remain productive on darks days
College Degree preferred or equivalent experience
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this role is $55,000 - $67,000 annually. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
