Develop high quality code performant, secure and compliant to open source licensing policies where applicable. Ensure that the code is developed in compliance to proper software development guidelines as prescribed by LivePerson. Work closely with customers in supporting the product. Help improve customer satisfaction by addressing any issues in a timely manner. Work closely with higher management in developing cutting edge, innovative, AI based chatbot platform. Work closely with team members and other service owners within LP in integrating the Conversational AI product into integrated LivePerson solution. Help in the code reviews to improve overall team code quality. Position is fixed location based in New York, NY office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.Job Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a directly related field plus seven (7) years of experience as a Software Development Engineer, Software Engineer, or Software Architect. Experience must include: Three (3) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):•Java programming language•REST/WEB Services design and developmentTwo (2) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):•JavaScript•Software Design•J2EE application servers and distributed systems•Debugging complex distributed systems•SQL and NoSQLOne (1) year of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):•Software Architecture40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary: $180,000.00 - $190,000.00/year.To apply: Send resumes to jmoon@liveperson.com.
