What You Will Do:

The Marketing Senior Manager is responsible for the long-term development of their products/category on a worldwide basis. The role covers the following: understanding the consumer and stylist needs in alignment with the brand strategy and DNA; ideate product concepts and packaging in close partnership with cross-functional teams, develop global launches along with being part of the development of the brand strategy and long-term vision. This role will be responsible for managing the global brand relaunch by establishing new messaging, enhancing portfolio claims, developing/executing creative expression, driving sustainability messaging and storytelling, and working closely with drive markets for local execution excellence.

  • Support the project lead for Biolage’s Brand Relaunch by following through key next steps: finalize messaging, creative briefing/execution, and global go-to-market strategy.

  • Lead the long-term development of products and categories worldwide, aligning with brand needs and category strategy.

  • Initiate briefs for new projects and collaborate with partners across Research & Innovation, claims, artwork teams, and development, ensuring seamless execution from ideation to production.

  • Identify consumer, salon, and technological trends globally to inform product development strategies.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including digital, education, ecomm, and creative to deliver successful product launches and dossiers.

  • Foster strong relationships with the US Marketing Team and other Drive countries to ensure alignment and synergy in marketing efforts.

  • Generate innovative and revolutionary product ideas and concepts tailored to the professional salon industry.

  • Develop and implement new product strategies, including positioning, formulation, packaging, media, merchandising, and pricing.

  • Conduct market research, focus groups, and competitive analysis to inform product development decisions.

  • Manage day-to-day marketing needs: global artworks, POs, and assist with budget.

    Who you are:

    Required Qualifications:

  • You hold a college degree, preferably in business or creative fields such as BBA, BFA, BA, or AAS, with a high school diploma as a minimum requirement.

  • Ideally, you have experience in hair care, hair color and/or hair styling marketing.

  • You are interested in the professional beauty industry and interested in finding new and innovative ways to connect and service the stylist.

  • You have proven experience in creating a consistent and comprehensive brand presence across multiple channels.

  • You excel in attention to details, project management, decision-making, problem-solving, multitasking, and have excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Financial acumen to manage budgets for category-specific executions is a requirement.

  • Computer literacy on Windows, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is part of your skill set.

  • You are open to periodic domestic or international travel (max. 25%).

  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage relationships with diverse international internal and external contacts.

  • You exhibit strong execution, leadership, and consensus-building/decision-making skills.

  • You can articulate clear business direction and strategies, drive goals and objectives, liaise between different departments, participate in senior-level management discussions, and facilitate the creative process at all levels.

  • Any language skills you possess would be a valuable asset.
