Prototype new algorithms, evaluate with small scale experiments, and implement solutions at scale to our 75 million active users. Build out feature extraction and training pipelines for machine learning products and orchestrate these pipelines for production use. Keep up-to-date on state of-the-art advances in the Machine Learning literature. Perform advanced statistical analysis, including regression modeling, A/B testing, significance testing, and propensity score matching to improve business decisions. Participate in on-call rotation for the group, triaging system alerts that come from all production pipelines and services written by the group. Write test code for production pipelines/services. Onboard other ML engineers onto production pipelines for ad server machine learning. Perform system testing/profiling and improve production system efficiency for model training and serving. Design system architectures for data pipelines and ML systems. Use Machine Learning models like Linear Regression, Random Forests etc. on various business datasets with relevant preprocessing and evaluation to generate business insights or provide useful features to the consumers. Design metrics, tooling, and A/B tests to support key business decisions. Participate in code reviews with the team by both providing and incorporating feedback. Communicate service level agreements with stakeholders and ensuring they are consistently met. *Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.SALARY: $196,460 - $294,690 / yearJOB REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Intelligent Information Systems, Mathematics or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have two (2) years of experience with: prototyping machine learning models in TensorFlow or similar machine learning platform; Python; utilizing advanced statistical techniques and concepts including regression, properties of distributions, and statistical tests; deployment and monitoring of models on large scale distributed clusters like Apache Mesos Clusters or Google; utilizing cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS; using BigQuery; designing and developing end to end business logic serving pipelines using Java; understanding the advantages and disadvantages of machine Learning techniques like Logistic Regression and Deep Learning; data exploration / data visualization tools such as matplotlib or Jupyter notebooks; and building complex end-to-end machine learning pipelines for online training and inference.
