Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Help Desk/Onsite Support Analyst with our financial services client in their New York, NY location. This is a 12-month + contract with a possible extension. This position is 5 days a week onsite.
Summary:
- Seeking a Senior Help Desk/Onsite Support Analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Provides support to all IT-related activities and initiatives, including guidance, assistance, coordination and follow-up on IT problems and ensures resolution.
- Provides guidance, assistance, coordination and follow-up on problems and ensures resolution.
- Provides support to a specific group of customers on applications, infrastructure and technology related activities for small projects.
- Works with application developers and operations to support production applications and customer-specific operations.
- Trains customers on new products, applications and platforms. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum 2-3 years - Desktop Imaging and Deployment Skills, Basic PC Troubleshooting.
- Minimum 2-3 years - End user support.
- Minimum 2-3 years - Software installation\troubleshooting.
- Windows 10\11, Application installations and troubleshooting.
- Microsoft Certification (Windows Desktop) a plus.
- MAC Experience not required, but a plus.
- IT Cert not required but preferred if no College. If College, no need for any IT Certifications.
- Experience in technical and customer support required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
Pay rate range: $35.00 - $40.00 hourly
