Overview

Work with the Dean on faculty recruitment, retention, and policy development. Develop short and long-term strategic faculty personnel goals and staffing plans; advise and keep the Dean informed on all faculty issues. Oversee allocation of faculty housing, collaborate on long-term housing acquisition and allocation strategies, as well as developing and updating policies related to allocation of faculty housing and develop effective strategies to communicate to Law School community. Manage real estate transactions. Effectively manage Faculty Affairs team, foster strong collaboration across the school and University, and engage in systemic approach to data and reporting, identifying opportunities for process improvement.



Responsibilities

Required Education:
Juris Doctorate (J.D.)

Required Experience:
7+ years Relevant experience, including developing, analyzing and interpreting faculty and/or housing/real estate policies and administering faculty procedures, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience with research and writing, budget administration, and project management.

Preferred Experience:
10+ years

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and in writing. Ability to interact with a diverse population at all levels. Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.



Qualifications

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $150,000.00 to USD $190,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
