Admarketplace, Inc. seeks Senior Data Analyst in New York, NY Duties: Apply data science techniques to model massive datasets, provide actionable insights to drive business results and visualize data in a compelling way. Develop complex scripts with database language, SQL, to extract raw data directly from the database. Design and create new database tables following the design paradigm which caters to business needs and accelerates the data analysis process. Apply logistic regression model on multi-dimensional datasets with millions of rows to determine the relationship between conversion rate and key attributes such as user location, search time, search keyword etc. Identify the importance of the attributes based on the coefficient value and propose action plans on high priority attributes. Apply Stochastic Gradient Descent regression model on clients’ conversion data to model between the order value and attributes associated with clicks. Apply clustering method with programmed scripts using R for user search data to explore the relationship between searched query terms and bid value. Visualize the uncovered client performance trends and patterns into interactive charts and graphs by programming in R and Python within their built-in libraries and third-party packages such as ggplot2 and matplotlib. Manage pricing optimization for more than 30 client accounts by training and improving machine learning models to predict click values. Build UI interaction and reporting products with the engineering team. This process includes gathering business requirements, creating specifications, designing the UI interface with Axure RP (a software to create rapid prototyping), modify database structure as needed and carry out final products by programming in Python and SQL.Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field plus 3 years of experience.
