HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

This role is responsible for the strategic vision, roadmap, and management for Skip Hop Amazon North America and other ecommerce accounts. This role will develop and execute short and long-term strategies to support growth and market share expansion, in addition, they will be responsible for executing a best-in-class digital customer experience.

This role reports into the Vice President of Sales, has one direct report and is based in our Skip Hop office in our on-site/ hybrid work environment.

75% Account Management

  • Responsible for achieving all sales targets as well as internal customer profitability goals, including, mitigating chargebacks, and collaborating with product development to create exclusive frustration free packaging.

  • Partner with account planner to align on sales forecasts for day in and day out business, in addition to analyzing and developing strategy for peak selling times, (Prime Day and Black Friday/Cyber Monday)

  • Create operational efficiencies in conjunction with supply chain team to optimize sales, including direct import, direct ship and virtual flex.

  • Effectively negotiate and manage towards mutually beneficial trade agreements, including annual vendor negotiations.

  • Point of contact for owned accounts, maintaining strong relationships across all internal departments, including planning, supply chain, brand, marketing/creative and finance.

  • Maintain strong partnerships with vendor managers, SVS manager and all other account team members

25% Strategy and Insights to Wholesale Business

  • Lead overall strategy for Amazon North America and other ecommerce accounts, including assortment, merchandising and marketing, while also managing day to day business.

  • Guide category and product strategy with external digital marketing company to identify areas of opportunity to increase traffics and conversions using sponsored search and DSP.

  • Share consumer and competitive market insights with brand and marketing team to make informed strategy decisions.

  • Identify exclusive and channel management new product opportunities

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

Must have:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of Amazon experience, a plus if have other wholesale account experience.

  • Proven success as a strategic, analytical, and pro-active leader with a a ability to turn insights into actionable plans.

  • Advanced level of financial acumen including an understanding of how P&L impact sales decisions.

  • Highly collaborative, motivated leader who can build strong cross functional relationships that drive results.

  • Proven experience in presenting internally and externally to senior leadership

  • Proven experience building relationships while positively influencing internal and external customers and/or cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize and balance competing demands with a positive attitude.

  • Excellent communication, including verbal, written, listening and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, complex, and changing environment.

  • Results-driven and able to work with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals.

  • Experience managing people.

  • Compensation for this position ranges from $150,000 - $190,000 a year based on experience
