Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Operations Specialist in New York. This role is situated in the telecom industry and will involve the maintenance of money market and securities records. The successful candidate will also be responsible for verifying and releasing payments related to Funding Desk activity and managing inter-day cash positions.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain all money market and securities records

• Verify and release all payments related to Funding Desk activity

• Monitor the inter-day US position and reconcile end of day balance with the Funding Desk

• Oversee the inter-day cash positions at the issuing and paying agent for the Certificate of Deposits

• Assist Accounting with the investigation and reconciliation of open items using the TLM Aurora Reconciliation tool

• Specialize in fixed income products, including commercial paper, CDs, time deposits, corporate and treasuries

• Manage treasury settlements

• Utilize skills in ADP - Financial Services, CRM, IBM AS/400, Management System, Microsoft Excel, About Time, Compliance, Customer Service, Documentation, Office Functions Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Operations Specialist or in a similar role

• Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

• Knowledge of IBM AS/400 system

• Familiarity with Management Systems

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with 'About Time' software

• Understanding of Compliance procedures and regulations

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Ability to handle Documentation and Office Functions effectively
