Citibank, N.A. seeks a Model/Analysis/Validation Officer for its New York, NY location.

Duties: Conduct hands on analytics and perform model development procedures independently to support the model development and analytics efforts across customer lifecycle (Acquisitions, Customer Management, Collections). Develop model in compliance with Global Risk and external regulatory guidelines. Explore modeling techniques including new machine learning methods and their application in solving business problems across all account management strategies. Support regulatory exams and audit readiness efforts. Design the model frameworks including the choice of data sources, vintages, segmentation, modeling technique, model validation metrics evaluation and associated business impact analysis. Use R, Python and SAS to develop models along with the supervision of implementation of these models in compliance with the User Acceptance Testing process and Global Risk guidelines. Track Model performance once the model is implemented for use until the performance stability is observed over few consecutive quarters. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Analytics, Economics or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must possess six (6) years of experience in all of the following: Utilizing SAS Programing to perform data processing and statistical analysis; Using SQL Programing to extract data from enterprise data warehouse; Using R Programing to perform data mining and statistical analysis; Using Python Programing to perform data mining and statistical analysis; Using Unix operating system to perform data processing; Utilizing Statistical modeling and credit risk management knowledge for model design, derivation of features and the final model; Utilizing Machine learning knowledge for choice of parameter and tuning of model; and Using Hadoop to distribute in-house data to computing environments for analytical purpose. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in an above stated field of study, and four (4) years of experience.
