GALE Partners LLC Media Analyst in New York, New York

Media Analyst (GALE Partners LLC, New York, NY): Responsible for data pipelining, preprocessing, modeling, and analysis; Create user interfaces to show work allocation, timelines and work progress using performance analytics; Translate high level goals of clients and internal media teams into data science tasks & set of rules for analysis; Put together insights, craft stories from data and present to internal teams/clients using reports, visualizations; Lead media analysts in a client setting, directing them to handle reporting tasks and data preparation for broader strategy and analysis that you will own; Develop reports, visualizations, and key performance indexes to track effectiveness of ad campaigns; Analyze and processed large and complex data sets using advanced querying (SQL); Utilize Machine learning algorithms and their applications; Build and maintain MTA models for cross channel ad campaigns; Work with planning & channel teams to surface insights and tell the story behind the data to clients & internal stakeholders; Develop strategic & technical measurement plans to ensure all key client metrics are appropriately & accurately collected, working alongside both strategy & technical teams; Work with data science teams, and occasionally independently, on advanced media measurement (MMM/MTA/Incremental Lift Studies); Provide insights to enable continuous improvement of DSA support including process improvements and DSA innovation roadmap; Independently manage relationships with internal and external parties on projects; and Produce presentational materials for internal and external parties on DSA aspects of projects. In order to complete the above-mentioned tasks, the following skills and experience are required: Experience with advanced marketing models like Media Mix Models (MMM), Multi Touch Attribution (MTA), and TV Attribution models; Experience with ad-hoc analyses including A/B testing, frequency, and incremental market lift analysis such as match market analysis, geo-lift study, brand lift studies, and sales lift studies; Experience with building workflows using Python and SQL; Experience with Google Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics; Experience with media buying platforms: Display & Video 360, Trade Desk, Meta, Snapchat, and TikTok; Knowledge of site tags/pixels used to track media conversions (e.g. Floodlight/Gtags) and experience with Ads Data Hub; Experience with Google Big Query, AWS Redshift and BI tools such as Tableau and Looker Studio for reporting and analysis; High fluency with SQL on PostgreSQL, MySQL, and BigQuery; Fluency with scripting (Python, Bash); Experience with statistical programming languages/packages (R, SAS, Scipy/Numpy/Scikit-learn); Experience with Unix/Linux systems and command-line interfaces and editors; Experience with the AWS and Google Cloud ecosystems; Experience with supervised learning and unsupervised clustering algorithms and their application to large data sets; and Experience loading, cleansing, and analyzing very large datasets. Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science or related field and two (2) years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Scientist, or related occupation.
