Learn more about benefits at Meta at this link: https://www.metacareers.com/facebook-life/benefits.Duties:Develop highly scalable classifiers and tools leveraging machine learning, data regression, and rules based models. Suggest, collect and synthesize requirements and create effective feature roadmap. Code deliverables in tandem with the engineering team. Adapt standard machine learning methods to best exploit modern parallel environments, including distributed clusters, multicore SMP, and GPU.Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field and 48 months of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Foreign degree equivalent accepted. Experience must include 48 months involving the following: 1. Machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining and artificial intelligence; 2. Translating insights into business recommendations; 3. Scripting languages, including Perl, Python, PHP, and shell scripts; 4. SQL, ETL, and data modeling; 5. Proof-of-concepts of state-of-the-art AI models on complex real world datasets, and productionizing research ideas using AI and ML frameworks; 6. Statistics methods, including forecasting, time series, hypothesis testing,classification, clustering or regression analysis, and statistical/mathematical software (R); and 7. Addressing big picture questions by framing the question, turning it into an analytical plan,executing and communicating to stakeholders.
