Description We are offering a unique role for a Desktop Support Analyst based in New York, New York, 10013, United States. Our organization operates within the Information Technology industry, and we are currently seeking an individual with skills in Single Sign-On. This role provides an opportunity for short term contract employment, where you will be instrumental in providing support and solutions to our end-users and contributing to our IT operations.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first line of support for all computer-related issues within the organization.

• Troubleshoot software and hardware problems, and perform necessary repairs or installations.

• Utilize Single Sign-On technology to ensure secure and efficient access to systems.

• Provide technical assistance and training to system users to improve their understanding and use of the software and hardware.

• Document all technical issues and solutions in the company's issue tracking system for future reference.

• Work closely with other IT team members on larger projects and initiatives.

• Maintain an inventory of all IT equipment and software in use, and manage the distribution of resources.

• Ensure that all systems are operating optimally, and escalate any issues as necessary.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to provide the most effective support possible.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, technical issues, and potential solutions. Requirements • Proficiency in Single Sign-On technology is required for this role.

• The candidate must possess strong technical skills including troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

• Experience in providing desktop support is essential.

• Familiarity with various operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux is necessary.

• The applicant should be able to install, upgrade, and manage software applications.

• Knowledge of network configuration and troubleshooting is required.

• The candidate should be able to handle hardware issues, including setting up desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

• Excellent communication skills are necessary to interact with users and understand their issues.

• The candidate should be able to work in a team and coordinate with other IT professionals.

• The ability to document technical issues and solutions is required.

• The applicant should be ready to work in shifts if required.

• The candidate should have a customer-centric approach and the ability to prioritize tasks.

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ will be an advantage.
