Intellectual Property (IP) Paralegal - Hybrid

Beacon Hill Legal is searching for an IP Paralegal for a major law firm's Midtown Manhattan office. This is a hybrid role and a salary ranging from $70,000-$100,000.

This person should have at least 3 years experience as an IP Paralegal in a law firm. This person should have experience with trademarks and ideally some experience with patents.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct IP due diligence searches independently, including IP litigation, ownership, and lien searches.
• Analyze search results, address issues, and generate formal reports for deal documents.
• Review and confirm search results from other counsel and vendors.
• File copyright, patent, and trademark-related documents with the respective offices.
• Report filed documents and received notices to deal teams.
• Guide deal teams on IP collateral and security interests under attorney supervision.
• Maintain records of IP searches, filings, and recordations.
• Manage the firm's IP prosecution docketing system and master docket.
• Assist with IP prosecution tasks, including reporting office actions and managing third-party vendors.

Qualifications:

• BA required
• 3+ years IP Paralegal experience or similar
