Citigroup In-House Creative Agency Account & Project Management Lead in New York, New York

Citi’s US in-house creative agency is looking for an Account & Project Management Lead to oversee a team of Project Managers who manage the development of high-volume digital and print marketing assets.

This position requires a proven record of success in leading Project Managers and managing high priority creative copy and design initiatives, preferably in an agency environment.

The key characteristics for this position are:

  • Client advocate – Taking consultative approach to build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders and senior leadership

  • Strategic visionary – Seeing beyond explicit assignments; identifying broader opportunities to enhance client deliverables and internal processes

  • Collaborative partner – Partnering with stakeholders and execution partners to equip the team with best practices and manage client needs and expectations

  • Creative problem-solver – Using established process, controls and judgment to navigate project pilots and escalations

  • Continuous learner / Influencer – Promoting continued education to the team, introducing fresh ideas and providing mentorship to help retain and grow in-house talent

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the in-house agency is to provide their partners with innovative and dynamic assets that adhere to brand guidelines, the client's central messaging and ADA compliance.

The Account & Project Management Lead is specifically responsible for:

  • Leading a team Project Mangers; influencing the efficiency and quality of work and advocating for the agency / client relationships

  • Managing multi-dependency, high priority projects and new process / scope pilots

  • Collaborating with cross-functional leadership to manage client experience and expectations; ensuring projects align with business needs

  • Presenting to senior leadership; clearly explaining strategy and impact of the team’s involvement

  • Participating in project kickoff meetings, performing internal reviews and joining client presentation calls to lead the team in delivering high quality assets

  • Demonstrating Citi’s purpose of making every client’s progress our passion

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication/Advertising or related field

  • PgMP or PMP certification highly preferred

  • 8+ years in project and account management, and supervisory experience

  • Agency experience (in-house agency experience is a plus)

  • Demonstrated cross-functional and collaborative work style to partner effectively with various levels within organization

  • Experience developing project plan, scope and timeline

  • Identify gaps in project plans and educate Project Managers on resolutions

  • Comfortable in ambiguous situations, self-starter and self-learner

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly and effectively discuss projects

  • Successful experience partnering with internal clients and senior leaders

  • Multi-tasking and organization skills with ability to create and manage a process calendar

  • Ability to successfully collaborate with local and remote team members

  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality

  • Demonstrates a flexible approach and resilience to setbacks

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to untangle complex issues

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$129,840.00 - $194,760.00
