ROLE SUMMARY Reporting to the Head of Brand PR and Social Media, this role is responsible for overseeing the firmwide Executive Social Media Program. This strategic engagement program, specific to LinkedIn, plays a key role in amplifying the firm's narrative to position our most senior executives as thought leaders in a relevant and engaging way. The right candidate will be a true collaborator, who can work closely with key stakeholders across the firm to evangelize the benefits of a digital presence, onboard executives to the platform in collaboration with our tech team and vendor, curate and craft social-first content, manage approvals with legal and compliance, track analytics and growth and effectively communicate the evolution of such a program in delivering on our one integrated firm brand platform.

This is a high-visibility, global role that will put you in front of stakeholders at all levels and across the firm and, as such, requires someone who has experience building presentations and consensus, and comfort speaking to audiences of all kinds. You'll do well in this role if you have experience working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders and integrating their inputs, while also maintaining a top-down brand-level strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES -Own and evolve the firm's Executive Social Media Program strategy with alignment to overarching marketing, communications, and business objectives.

-Lead communications around the benefits of the program and roadshow it to key executives, their teams as well as other partners across the firm.

-Collaborate closely with key functional partners (tech, legal, compliance, corporate communications) as well as executive's teams to facilitate training and onboarding to the program and ensure a seamless ongoing experience.

-Drive creation of social-first content that reflects key executive's particular interests and areas of focus and continue to ideate on how to evolve that voice in collaboration with the executive's teams and the Brand PR and Social team.

-In collaboration with our project management team, develop, manage and maintain integrated timelines and a consistent view of program status and executive roadmap/metrics.

-In tandem with the team's VP, Social Media Analytics and Operations, monitor and analyze performance, providing monthly reporting with wins, learnings, opportunities and insights for senior audiences.

-Closely align with tech team to manage vendor relationship, including leading quarterly business reviews and ensuring vendor accountability to issue resolution process.

-Attend relevant events as needed to capture content for social and lead the corresponding legal and compliance review process.

-Apply knowledge of emerging trends and technologies to social programs.

-Collaborate across the broader Brand PR and social team as necessary on high-priority campaigns and activations.

-Maintain close relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in social media and executive communications/visibility for executives, preferably at an enterprise company or large agency. This will be a proactive, motivated leader with exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, who can drive the growth of this key program. A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work across multiple projects simultaneously is instrumental.

Additional qualifications include: -Subject matter expertise on best practices for LinkedIn and proven results building social following and engagement.

-Proficiency with social publishing and creative tools (e.g. Sprinklr, LiveSocial, Hearsay and Canva) with strong experience creating captivating content specifically for social.

-A clear understanding of social analytics, and how to apply those findings to improve programs.

-Stellar written and verbal communication skills and experience presenting and liaising with senior executives.

-Strong relationship management skills, experience working with stakeholders cross-functionally and in global markets.

-Exceptional time-management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $190,000 per year atthe commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
