We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in the role of Eligibility and Authorization Specialist. This position is with one of our clients, a network of agencies dedicated to offering comprehensive services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

salary: $18 - $20 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 9 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Interpret and assess data from various sources to ensure the correctness of claims submitted for processing and communicates discrepancies, issues, and the need for additional information to the appropriate parties both interdepartmental and outside the department.

• Identify and resolve any claim delay issues that impact billing and collections.

• Accurately interpret and take any necessary action on explanation of benefits, remittance statements and collections reports.
