McGraw Hill is currently seeking a Data Ethics Analyst to join our Privacy team.

How can you make an impact?
The Data Ethics Analyst will work with the Chief Privacy Officer and Privacy Manager to ensure the continued development, implementation, maintenance, and enforcement of an effective global data ethics program to support the business and the organization's privacy and AI governance requirements. This team is part of a broader compliance and legal department that serves the MH business units and works in a supportive, cross-functional environment.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, and possess a strong work ethic. This role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves to learn, and contributes positively to team collaboration. You will be managing the day-to-day administrative tasks that support the privacy & AI governance program.

This position can work remotely from a home office in the United States or from one of our MH offices. Candidates must permanently reside within the United States to be considered for this position. Travel is required 3-4 times per year for in-person meetings and team events.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage daily data ethics email and ticket queues for the privacy and AI governance program.
  • Support development and management of global data ethics programs and initiatives, including documentation, training, and tools, in consultation with the Chief Privacy Officer, Data Privacy Manager, and other stakeholders
  • Design, implement, and enhance data ethics procedures to meet the needs of the company including processes for providing training and guidance, tracking legal and regulatory requirements, and other areas as needed
  • Develop and maintain a deep comprehension of company processes, systems, technologies, data, customers, consumers, partners, and the data ethics-related compliance/regulatory environment that the organization operates in.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Bachelors degree preferred with a minimum of 2 years' experience in Privacy and/or AI governance
  • Certification in privacy and/or AI governance preferred
  • Experience with OneTrust, ServiceNow, and SharePoint
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, work well in a demanding dynamic environment and meet overall objectives.
  • High level of personal integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity.
  • High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with cross functional teams and build consensus among stakeholders.
  • Strong technical skills, able to quickly learn and become proficient in multiple platforms

The pay range for this position is between $70,000-$90,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
