Citibank N.A seeks a Corporate Banking Sr. Associate for its New York, NY location.Duties: Provide support on financing related transaction execution, relationship management, and periodic credit review for major institutional clients. Drive revenue by managing the extension of credit and cross selling the Citi platform while deploying the firm’s capital and evaluating and managing risk. Prepare Proforma Debt Rating Models that reflect transformative transactions including mergers, refinancings, divestitures, and equity/hybrid issuances. Run and assess returns on highly complex transactions and integrate transaction level Return on Tangible Common Equity scenarios to measure and assess returns at the relationship level. Ensure legal review associated with each transaction is performed and all necessary waivers are approved by appropriate personnel prior to any legal documentation being executed. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation in the capital markets section of the financial industry. Three (3) years of experience must include: Working on a wide array of leveraging transactions to prepare credit reports outlining a Company’s financial and business risk profile and a transaction’s impact on ratings; Conducting analysis including accounting, financial and business analysis, industry and economic research as well as financial modeling to evaluate credit profiles; Performing macroeconomic analysis to assess economic impact of exogenous factors on coverage companies and the industries in which they operate; Organizing and analyzing data in preparation of rating agency reports that accurately address a company’s key credit strengths/weaknesses; and Database analysis and utilization of investment systems including S&P Capital IQ, S&P Ratings Direct, SEC Filings, and Bloomberg to assess the financial and business risk profile of companies. 40 hrs./wk.
