Citigroup Balance Sheet Management Lead Analyst in New York, New York

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Balance Sheet Management Lead Analyst for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Work with the Personal Banking & Wealth Management (“PBWM”) Treasury team to derive appropriate Fund Transfer Pricing (“FTP”), using approved analytical methods, such as reviewing vectors based on the product or price point, calculating and analyzing the impact of a change in payment rate on cost of funds, as well as the impacts of a change in Interest Forward Rates on FTP, customer interest, and Liquidity premiums. Identify and analyze business line interest rate exposure. Establish, monitor, and adapt key balance sheet, net interest margin, and liquidity targets in conjunction with business and finance partners. Participate in activities related to CCAR, CLAR, ALCOs, Recovery and Resolution planning including associated modeling activities. Oversee the daily FTP process including reviewing product balances and Profit and Loss (“P&L”) from both interest rate and liquidity transfer pricing. Serve as a subject matter expert and work with the Business Finance teams to implement balance allocation, optimization, and cost processes. Identify and analyze business line interest rate exposures and note any implications for consumer loans. Utilize the knowledge of migration and implementation skillset, including dataflow and technology set-up, finance accounting and management principles, transfer pricing and liquidity management concepts. Understand current processes and accordingly work towards automation, transformation and simplification of existing process for the transformation and new system implementation. Understand and provide cost of funds for new product and for existing products pricing initiative. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (3 or 4 year), or foreign equivalent, in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field and 5 years of experience as a Balance Sheet Management Lead Analyst, Financial Analyst, FP&A Specialist, Accountant, Treasury Analyst or related position involving Balance sheet analysis and Liquidity management for global banks. 5 years of experience must include: Duration Analysis; Financial Planning and Analysis; Finance Accounting and Management; FTP; P&L Statements and Quarterly Earnings analysis; CCAR, CLAR, ALCOs, Recovery and Resolution planning; Tableau, Smartview, Hyperion, Power BI, Inquiry Framework Reporting Tool; and Product Review and Management.
