Reiss Assistant Merchandiser in New York, New York

What's the role about?

As part of our Merchandising department, you'll be joining as our Assistant Merchandiser, who is responsible for supporting the merchandising team by managing the administration for product selection, intake and distribution, and reporting.

This position is based in NYC offering a hybrid work schedule.

Who you are

  • Previous experience or education in merchandising is essential

  • Previous retail experience is preferred

  • Excellent administration skills and experience working with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills

  • Well organized with time management skills

  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills

What you'll be doing

  • Allocate stocks for both retail full price and mark down

  • Run ad-hoc reporting for retail and merchandising trade reviews

  • Support and administer new allocation and replenishment system requirements

  • Manage warehouse shipments in line with trade reactions

  • Weekly review of line reports and any commercial actions needed

  • Manage stock consolidations and market reactions to trade

  • Cross functional collaboration with US and UK teams

Compensation

Min $65,000 annually
