Description/Job Summary
The AI Solution Delivery Analyst will conduct research, evaluate products and models, assist in solution implementation and provide support of cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions within the Firm. This specialized professional will need a solid understanding of core AI concepts and the ability to learn and adapt quickly as they navigate this dynamic field. This position will work across Firm functions and be connected to some of the most advanced projects in the legal industry.
The AI Solution Delivery Analyst will sit within the Firm's Data Analytics Group, which is a part of the Firm's Knowledge Department. They will work closely with lawyers and legal support professionals across Firm legal practices, as well as other technical resources from IT and other groups within the Firm. This role requires creative problem solving, analytical rigor, savvy communication skills and an appreciation for the business and practice of law.
Responsibilities/Duties
Work closely with the AI Solution Delivery Manager to review and implement selected legal AI solutions
Conduct comprehensive training sessions to educate attorneys and staff on the effective use of new AI solutions
Provide ongoing functional and technical support to ensure user satisfaction and maximize solution use
Engage attorneys and staff to drive the adoption of AI solutions
Curate a collection of materials, resources, best practices and emerging trends to support the effective use of AI
Monitor the usage of Firm sanctioned AI tools to provide adoption insights to leadership
Assist in the evaluation of AI solutions that align with Firm objectives
Stay up to date on the latest advancements and trends in AI-powered legal technologies
Document user needs and product roadmaps in clear and concise ways for internal and vendor technical resources
Proactively develops and maintains functional knowledge in emerging AI and natural language processing areas
Coordinate and collaborate with project managers, data scientists, software developers, data engineers, knowledge management lawyers and other support professionals within Knowledge, IT and other functions to move broad concepts into workable solutions for Firm lawyers and staff
Handle projects on request under the direction of the Chief Knowledge and Innovation Officer, Director of Data Analytics, Manager of AI Solution Delivery and other executive staff
Required Skills
Strong interest in artificial intelligence and its applications in the legal industry
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of processes, terminology and the challenges faced by legal professionals
Comfortable working closely with both technical resources and lawyers, and quickly switching in between those groups
Required Experience
- 3+ years of overall experience; 1+ years in a data science, information retrieval or document management role strongly preferred
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the legal field is a significant plus, as is an appreciation for the data privacy, information governance and ethics issues commonly facing law firms
Required Education
- A bachelor's degree, preferably in data science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, finance or a related field
Preferred Education
- Prior coursework or certifications in deep learning, natural language processing, or information retrieval

Salary Information
NY only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $110k to $130k at the time of posting.
The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
