Description We are seeking an Accounting Clerk for a role based in New York, New York. This position is in the legal industry and requires expertise in data entry and billing. This is a short term contract role where you will be tasked with handling data entry of billing information.

Responsibilities:

• Handle data entry tasks related to billing information in an accurate and timely manner.

• Maintain and update detailed and accurate records of all billing data.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and internal rules and regulations regarding billing.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure that all billing data is processed and recorded correctly.

• Identify and resolve any discrepancies in billing data.

• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to address any issues or queries related to billing.

• Utilize numeric data entry skills to input and manage billing data in the system.

• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

• Continuously review and improve processes related to data entry and billing. Requirements • Proficiency in Data Entry - Numeric is required.

• Experience in Billing is a must.

• Must possess strong accounting skills.

• Excellent understanding of general accounting principles.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Detail-oriented and high level of accuracy in work.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
