Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in materials management, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, and hardware development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience reporting to executive leaders in the company.

  • Experience working with Asia based contract manufacturers.

  • Ability to drive complex schedules, assess priorities and identify gaps.

  • Ability to travel internationally up to 20% of the time as needed.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and program management skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams in the definition, implementation and optimization of component supply chain strategy to support the manufacturing of Pixel phones.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

  • Own material Clear to build (CTB) and supply chain readiness for New Product Introduction (NPI) phone and platform builds from development to production internally and with manufacturing partners.

  • Manage program level sourcing strategy alignment, risk assessment and roll up. Ensure risk mitigation through Bill of Materials (BOM) risk analysis and source qualification planning.

  • Drive materials production readiness and supply chain development during NPI, manage material budget alignment, reconciliation and excess, and obsolescence management, driving risk reduction/mitigation activities and cross-functional collaboration and reporting.

  • Manage supply chain Capital Expenditures (CapEx) across key component suppliers, drive NPI and production materials risk-buy process and liability/budget management. Lead logistics strategy definition for components into existing and new manufacturing partner locations.

  • Lead programs to drive process improvements, operational excellence and reporting standardization.
