Abbott Assistant Product Manager in New Taipei City, China

To promote and market Abbott's EPD pharmaceutical products in Taiwan and maintain constant business growth and profitability in an ethical manner complying with all local relevant laws and Abbott's code of business conduct.

To manage product market access role and to apply or secure NHIA price and tender pricing management.

Requirements

  1. Develop and implement product strategies that align with the company's overall objectives and drive revenue growth and profitability.

  2. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform product development and positioning.

  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical, marketing, sales, and regulatory affairs, to develop and execute product launch plans and ensure successful adoption.

  4. Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market and resonates with customers.

  5. Develop and manage product budgets, forecasts, and pricing strategies.

  6. Monitor and analyze product performance, including sales, market share, and profitability, and take corrective actions as necessary.

  7. Identify new product opportunities and work with business development team to develop product concepts and business cases.

  8. Develop and deliver product training to sales teams, distributors, and other stakeholders.

  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments and adjust product strategies accordingly.

  10. Understand digital marketing and channels to implement activities that support business growth in different promotional mix.

  11. Pricing: Strategically set the price for all EPD products. This pricing strategy should reflect the value the drug brings while ensuring it remains affordable for patients. Tender pricing management to secure the company profit and margin.

  12. Support to receive product NHIA price by NHIA. Also support the self-paid price management.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, marketing, or a related medical field is preferred for this role.

  • 3+ years of experience in product management in the pharmaceutical industry (especially for 1+ year in product management).

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • Good communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical products.

  • Experience in product launch and lifecycle management.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
