Schedule: Full Time

Shift : 40 hours per week. 6am to 4pm or 9am to 8pm. Availability varies and will be confirmed at the time of the interview. There will be times when employees have to work outside of their usual hours to cover for time off gaps.

The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach 401 Palmetto Street, New Smyrna Beach, Florida 32168

The role you’ll contribute:

Performs duties, which maintain the food service department work areas, utensils, equipment and vehicles in clean, sanitized and orderly condition.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Care and cleaning of kitchen equipment, dish room and pot washing areas

· Washes pots, pans, trays and other cooking and serving equipment

· May wash and peel vegetables and fruits

· Operate and maintain dish room equipment according to sanitary standards

· Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

Minimum qualifications :

· High school education

· Up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
