The Plant Controller willDevelop, interpret, and implement financial and accounting concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control, by performing the following duties.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

• Assists in providing cost analysis results

• Performs variance analysis between actual and planned/standard costs

• Analyzes financial information to determine present and future financial performance.

• Identifies trends and recommends improvements accordingly.

• Monitors, analyzes and reports on inventory valuation, production and various other costs

• Assists development of integrated Revenue/COS analysis, projections, & reporting

• Extensive involvement in Month End & Year End financial closes analyzing, reporting, & booking activity

• Extensive involvement in periodic Financial Audits

• Comprehensive departmental resource

• Conducts studies to analyze financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.

• Evaluates profit plans, operating records, and financial statements.

• Establishes databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts.

• Assists organization's controller in the development of the budget, planning, and other corporate financial requirements.

• Makes recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities.

• Other duties may be assigned.

Your Education Should Be…

Bachelor’s degree (B. S.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
