Description We are providing an opportunity for a Systems Analyst to join our team located in New Haven, Connecticut, United States. This role is vital within our team, focusing on the setup, configuration, and management of our Learning Management System (LMS). You will be responsible for adding and managing users, creating and managing online courses, providing technical support, and monitoring system performance and security. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and configure our LMS to meet specific needs, including customizing the system's appearance, creating user accounts, and establishing security and access controls.

• Manage user accounts within the system by adding users, assigning permissions, and ensuring that users have access to necessary resources.

• Develop and manage online courses within the system, including uploading course content, creating quizzes, and setting up assessments.

• Deliver technical support to users and troubleshoot any issues with the system, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the system to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.

• Monitor the performance and security of the system, ensuring it functions optimally and securely.

• Identify and resolve any security threats, demonstrating a good understanding of cybersecurity.

• Update and maintain the LMS, including updating the system with the latest software releases, bug fixes, and security patches.

• Utilize skills such as Database, DB2 Database, EO/IR systems, IBM, Microsoft, AB Testing, Business Requirement Document, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments to perform tasks efficiently and effectively. Requirements • Possession of strong knowledge and experience in Database and DB2 Database systems.

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems is mandatory.

• Proficiency in using IBM and Microsoft systems and tools.

• Experience in AB Testing is a key requirement.

• Ability to create and maintain Business Requirement Documents.

• Thorough understanding of Computer Hardware systems.

• Proven experience in Configuration Management and Deployments.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

• Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders and translate technical jargon into understandable terms.

• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.

• Relevant professional certifications will be considered an advantage.
