We are currently seeking a motivated Account Manager who will serve as a key member of the Commercial team, providing support in market and capability assessments that help determine the company\'s direction. The successful Member will also own a key segment of customer accounts to achieve sales growth targets within that market. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor\'s degree in business, communication, or related field and 3-5 years of experience in a professional business selling role, preferably within the plastics or packaging industries. Demonstrated negotiation skills, excellent communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with the ability to travel up to 60% of the time regionally on a consistent basis. In this role you will: Provide support to the Market Manager\'s strategic plan in regard to market segment viability, company capabilities or gaps, market trends and direction or the industry. Support commercial project management activities cross-functionally to assess fully what changes would mean to other areas of the business and how we operate. Develop relationships with customers in a complex, consultative sales process, selling value as a strategic business partner focused on addressing customer requirements, strategies and pain points through product quality, manufacturing and distribution capabilities, and cost effectiveness. Manage and develop target accounts directed by the Vice President of Sales in assigned key market, by tending existing customer relationships as well as identifying and qualifying new customer categories and accounts while maintaining or increasing profit margins.
