Position Details:

Full-time Clinical Float Pool - CNA

Good Shepherd Communities is seeking dedicated, compassionate and experienced CNA's to join our Full-time Clinical Float Pool team. As a Clinical Float Pool CNA, you will have the opportunity to work across various units, providing high-quality patient care and helping to maintain safe staffing levels.

Full-time clinical float pool employees will be scheduled & deployed based on need of facilities. Employees may express their availability during the scheduling process.

Compensation:

CNA - $23.50/hour

CNA positions are eligible for a sign on bonus.

    Responsibilities:

    Employees in the clinical float pool will not have a fixed assignment to a specific unit, department or facility. The employee will “float” between different areas within our healthcare facility(s) based on staffing needs.

    Qualifications:

  • Full-time Clinical float pool staff (RN, LPN, CNA & HHA-PCA’s) must hold a valid license or certificate and have relevant clinical experience. Additional certifications or competencies may be required for participation in the float pool.

  • Must be an accomplished and experienced professional.

  • Must be flexible and adaptable. The ability to quickly learn new routines and protocols is essential for seamless transitions between units

  • Some flexibility to work day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.

  • Strong clinical skills and ability to adapt to changing environments.

    Note: Employees in this program are not subject to mandation.

    Guaranteed Hours:

    All full-time clinical float pool employees are guaranteed a minimum of 32 or 40 hours per week (depending on what employee elects). These hours will be scheduled based on facility needs
