Naval Supply Systems Command SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST in Naval Support Activity, Pennsylvania

Summary You will serve as a Supply System Analyst in the Supply Operations and Logistics Policy Directorate within Headquarters, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA. Responsibilities You will provide analysis to develop strategies and procedures to improve Navy Supply Chain Process effectiveness. You will provide data and analysis on matters relating to business process re-engineering (BPR) initiatives, system enhancements, process performance results, issue resolution and correction plans. You will provide support to designated business process owners during interactions with high-ranking military and civilian managers, supervisors, and technical staff. You will develop presentations and briefs, utilizing power point as required for specific issues or agenda items that need to be addressed by Supply Chain Management personnel. You will provide brief and/or spread sheet analysis to support functional and role-based reviews of effectiveness and efficiency for the support provided by the designated Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) sub-process. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications You have one year of Supply Systems Analyst experience to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying an extensive knowledge of Supply Chain Management functions and business in analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain programs initiatives is also required. Specialized experience must include: 1) Developing strategies and procedures to improve the Enterprise Resource Planning System; 2) Maintaining data in various systems or web-based community of interest site for users and stakeholders of the assigned sub-process; 3) Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain program initiatives; 4) Applying new developments, theories, and judgement to improve and extend data from managing supply and logistics programs, organizations and functions; 5) Providing clear and concise information via oral and written communication to various stakeholders including team members, customers and leadership; and 6) Demonstrated ability to lead others in a team environment.
