Naval Supply Systems Command SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in Naval Support Activity, Pennsylvania

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIT of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will ensure budget requirements for audit support is submitted timely and accurately to NAVSEA You will lead the Special Emphasis Programs and Special Projects Team in navigating the complex relationships between engineering and technical management. You will manage costs associated with the sustainment phase of systems and seeks to optimize operational readiness while maintaining the primary focus on safety. You will oversee the team's support of the Department's utilization of supply chain management processes, procedures, and tools to enhance the availability of material to meet submarine customer needs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GA-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following. I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. 1.) Reviewing written quality or inspection procedures for adequacy and evaluating the implementation and effectiveness of a Navy quality control program; 2.) Performing periodic assessments and on-sight checks to ensure the accuracy, adequacy and completeness of internal audits; 3) Verifying by test or inspection, using sampling inspection or intensive product inspection techniques that Navy quality-controlled products comply with requirements; 4) Interpreting a Navy quality control programs, directives, instructions, plans, standards and procedures to objectively evaluate work, material, and methods against these documents.
