Position Overview

Project manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the PMO and the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Works with internal and external partners on various IT initiatives to oversee the overall planning, execution, and control of multiple large or highly complex projects to successful completion.

  • Establishes work plans for each phase of project plan and issues direction to project team.

  • Assigns tasks, goals and responsibilities to project team members for research and development, budgeting, and scheduled delivery.

  • Serves as liaison between project team members, business partners and technical resources.

  • Provides ongoing strategic direction and budgeting to project team.

  • Tracks progress, updates project management software and communication log with deliverables and artifacts created during project execution.

  • Reports issues, delays, and/or developments that may slow or alter course of project completion, escalates problems as appropriate to management and clients.

  • Establishes plans to mitigate project risks and resolve issues.

  • Adheres to project related governance processes and facilitates the sharing of resources, methodologies and tools.

  • Assist with documenting policies, controls, and processes established or revised by the PMO.

  • Produce project status reporting, baseline expectations for project management processes by type, success metrics, and related documentation.

  • Actively participate in evaluating and improving the Project Management Methodology defined and utilized by the PMO.

  • Travels to projects sites to document current state of operations and assess site needs and/or updates (less than 20%).

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, 5-6 years of project management experience and 1-3 years of IT experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 1-2 years experience working with different types of data mapping and integration activities

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred

  • Written and verbal communication skills, including delivering presentations

Pay Ranges$79,175.00 - $131,958.00

This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.
