Job Description

As a Controls Technician, you will be the second line of defense after the Electricians, responsible for addressing maintenance issues related to PLCs, Robots, or any automated equipment. Your role will involve working with Mitsubishi PLCs and Fanuc robots, with a significant focus on troubleshooting on the floor and diagnosing electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues on the floor (75% of the job).

• Identify and resolve issues within the PLC program (25% of the job).

• Work with Mitsubishi PLCs and Fanuc robots.

• Use a laptop to connect and troubleshoot PLCs and robotic systems.

Essential Skills

• Robotics

• PLC troubleshooting

• Electrical troubleshooting

• Experience with Fanuc robots

• Industrial maintenance

• Familiarity with Mitsubishi PLCs

• Proficiency with multimeters

• Knowledge of ABB robots

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Kukan Robots

• Understanding of sensors and cameras

• Automation expertise

Work Environment

Work in an industrial plant environment that is non-climate controlled. The position is for a day shift from 6 AM to 6 PM.
