Description

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist for our client based in Eastern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The primary role of this position is to manage and ensure the accurate execution of payroll activities for a diverse client base. The selected candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks and ADP, and have a comprehensive knowledge of payroll, benefits, taxes, deductions, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and prepare all phases of payroll processing for multiple clients, including data input, auditing, and review.

• Maintain thorough, up-to-date, and accurate payroll records, including timesheets, W-2 forms, and payroll deductions.

• Analyze, prepare, and input payroll data using QuickBooks and ADP software.

• Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.

• Compute wages and deductions and enter data into the payroll system.

• Compile summary of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave balances, and non-taxable wages and report on this data.

• Perform year-end reconciliation of payroll records and issue W-2 forms.

• Stay up-to-date on changes in legislation pertaining to payroll laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a Payroll Specialist role or similar position

• Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP - Payroll, QuickBooks, and QuickBooks Online

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Familiarity with state and federal payroll and tax regulations.
