Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Telecommunications Specialist in Naples, Florida. The role involves handling various aspects of telecommunications, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The individual will operate within the service industry, collaborating with vendors and maintaining inventory records.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain telecommunications systems including landline phones and other communication-related equipment

• Install, update, and troubleshoot landline phones

• Maintain accurate inventory records and databases for landline phones

• Analyze system and user needs as well as equipment requirements

• Communicate effectively with end users to understand issues and devise a plan of action

• Review and recommend approval of monthly landline phone billings

• Maintain and troubleshoot Avaya CM including auto-attendants, IVR, and Phonetree system implementation

• Support Avaya Voice solution technologies including but not limited to IP Office, Voice Manager Pro, Aura, Communication Manager, and Messaging System

• Perform basic computer operations and applications, specifically MS Office applications

• Be prepared to work flexible hours or days when needed to complete assignments or respond to emergencies. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Telecommunications Specialist or in a similar role within the Service industry

• Proficient in using Avaya CMS or similar telecommunications systems

• Demonstrable experience in cable assemblies and cable installation

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on basic troubleshooting in telecommunications

• Strong understanding of telecommunications principles and best practices

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders

• Proactive and able to work independently when required

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
