BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Pollinator/Greenhouse Worker for an opportunity in Nampa, ID!
Position Title: Pollinator/Greenhouse Worker
Location: Nampa, ID
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration:12+ Months with possible extension.
Job Type: ONSITE
Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm
Pay Range: \$16-18/HR
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Job Description:
Assist with breeding operations for alfalfa germplasm development to include alfalfa crossing and greenhouse plant maintenance including staking, pruning, potting, watering, seeding and greenhouse cleaning.
Help with grinding alfalfa samples and taking quality samples in field. Will require PPE (mask, hearing protection and goggles.) will use a coarse grinder.
Skills:
Alfalfa crossing is very detail oriented; position involves working with small and fragile plant material that requires good eye-hand coordination, excellent attention to detail and quality record keeping.
Knowledge: Biology Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
