Plant Maintenance Manager/Supervisor

Description
Responsible for all daily maintenance functions of the plant. Supervise the maintenance team and plan and evaluate all maintenance activities of the plant. Assist all levels of plant management regarding maintenance issues, such as managers and supervisors, over proper safety operations of the plant. Work with OSHA, FDA, and USDA inspectors on new projects for assigned departments.
Oversee and manage all daily maintenance functions in support of the Plant. Maintain and ensure service of equipment in the production and packaging areas and related equipment, warehouse areas, office areas, and plant grounds. Participate in operating budget, goals, and objectives of plant. Provide constant attention to costs from parts, labor, and downtime issues related to maintenance activities. Set up and manage systems for preventive maintenance for the manufacturing operations. Order parts, organize, input and maintain part inventory information. Attend weekly maintenance meetings with the maintenance superintendents/directors.
Provide technical advice on difficult and recurring matters and monitor the safety/security indicators. Define training plans and skill assessments of maintenance team with the maintenance superintendents, and perform annual performance reviews. Establish the most advantageous courses of action for successful management and implementation of company’s maintenance policies in the United States.
