In this role, you will:

• Manage strategic programs with leading publishers to create outstanding customer experiences and drive growth for the books business.

• Conduct customer analysis, brainstorm innovative initiatives, and execute them to meet evolving customer needs.

• Analyze and track publishers' performance on key performance indicators.

• Embrace a customer-centric mindset, thinking across various reading/listening formats such as physical books, Kindle, and Audible.

• Collaborate closely with the marketing, supply chain, and product management teams within Books to align efforts and deliver remarkable results.

To succeed in this position, you should have excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills. We encourage you to think big, come up with creative ideas, and demonstrate your ability to build solid relationships both internally and externally. Fluency in German and English is a must, and your expertise in digital technologies, e-commerce, supply chain, or content management will be highly valued.

Basic Qualifications

  • Fluent English and German language skills, both in verbal and written communication

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in Finance, Engineering, Business, or Management

  • Solid social skills to build relationships both internally and externally

  • Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment

  • Ability to work on own initiatives including organizational, planning, time management skills

  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills on Excel and Business Intelligence Systems

Preferred Qualifications

Ideally, you have these preferred qualifications: - Past experience with digital technologies, e-commerce, supply chain and/ or content management

  • Excellent business judgment

  • Knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic, HTML

  • A Master’s degree (preferably in business management)
