Job Dimensions (role and responsibilities):
The responsibilities include:
Quantitative Analysis research particularly with ESRI Arc GIS, ERDAS imagine, ENVI, SPSS, Microsoft Office (with knowledge of Advance Excel) , Google earth engine, Python, FME desktop.
Knowledge of Advance excel is must.
Spatial Analysis and Quality checking
Well-versed with Crop Monitoring area and Yield estimation
Satellite based farm level crop mapping and monitoring.
Knowledge of Agriculture insurance & operational guideline of PMFBY scheme.
Creating adhoc reports as per the business requirement.
B. Tech/ B.sc Statistics or Science faculty, M.sc/ M Tech in remote sensing & GIS or Geo informatics
ENVI is must
3-5 years’ experience, working knowledge of software like Q GIC/ArcGIS, ERDAS imagine
