Red Hat Sales Specialist in Mumbai, India

About the Job

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Application Platform Sales Specialist to join us in Mumbai . In this role, you will be responsible for Red Hat software subscription sales offerings and services to prospective and current accounts. You'll need to have the ability to understand customer needs and challenges and link them to a set of Red Hat offerings. Your tasks will include creating sales opportunities in both new and existing customer accounts through well-planned demand generation efforts with the account teams.

What will you do?

  • Consult on and enable successful execution of Red Hat Openshift GTM

  • Be the virtual leader for in GEO Red Hat Openshit sales tactics

  • Educate customers and stakeholders alike on the value of Red Hat Openshift Container Platform

  • Lead and enable on hyper-competitive sales situations for Red Hat Openshift Be a geo-level bi-directional conduit of GTM for Red Hat Openshift between sales, P&GE, marketing, enablement, customer success, and SRE/CEE

  • Work closely with Red Hat Openshift business unit and engineering teams by providing feedback and identifying gaps in the offering

  • Build lasting relationships with cloud providers, ISVs, and other 3rd parties for joint GTM

  • Interface with regional sales leadership for account planning and GTM

What will you bring?

  • Computer Science or other technical degree preferably w/ MBA

  • Previous experience as a sales engineer, technical sales, or similar role (preferably Technical and/or Sales role experience working directly for hyperscalers or in partner ecosystem)

  • 8+ years of experience in Modern Datacenter technologies including virtualisation & containers

  • Industry vertical experience with West Corporate / Manufacturing / Commercial Segment

  • Subject matter expertise and experience in kubernetes / containerisation with application modernisation

  • Preferably skills on ML Ops including LLM's, Gen AI & Predictive AI Experience delivering technical presentations and leading business value sessions.

  • Executive presence with public speaking skills

  • Expert Practitioner of the Challenger Sales Model

  • Entrepreneurial mindset
