Core Job description:
Analysis of potential new product opportunities within Women’s Health, CNS & Pain portfolio including needs assessment, competitive dynamics, timelines, cost analysis, and Net-sales potential.
Be part of the strategic planning process and involved in the preparation of long range strategies and action plan for Therapeutic Areas
Responsible for leading & driving cross functional team to bring Strategic new projects to Senior Management for approval & execution.
Responsible for driving Commercial forecast/business case, aligning regulatory, market access, Operations, clinical, IP, L&A, Product development/manufacturing strategy.
Leading the preparation & conduct of ideation forum across Therapeutic Areas at Abbott EPD wherein new potential ideas/opportunities in licensing and acquisition, NCE’s and development projects are discussed.
Assist in conduct of Innovation Board meetings with Senior Leaders including drafting of agenda, managing logistics, slide deck compilation, coordination with different functions, drafting minutes & outcome in tracker.
Maintaining Ideation tracker wherein all ideas generated across EPD are tracked and followed up until documented outcome.
Key Skills required :
University Degree preferably in business administration or a medical field
7-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry specifically in business development and\or portfolio management, strategic planning, marketing
Forecasting knowledge and experience
Therapy Area Knowledge
Expertise in Business Case Preparation & Analysis
Ability to lead Cross Functional teams
Driving organizational objectives & strategic initiatives
Ideation and Design Thinking
Anticipating potential roadblocks and designing workaround strategies.
Life-cycle management ideas for core brands
Pipeline analysis.
Good oral and written presentation skills; Experience presenting to Senior leaders
Travel 25%
