Microsoft Industry Solutions Delivery assists customers in stabilizing developed solutions using Microsoft methodologies in complex customer environments, in the design and development of integrated solutions using the latest Microsoft products, services and technologies and understanding the relevant application development, infrastructure and operations implications of the developed solution.

As a Data and AI Consultant, you will work with the latest technologies to design, build, optimize data-centric solutions, and help our customers unlock the value of their data. You will play a key role in allowing clients to maximize their investment in Microsoft technology and introduce them to emerging technologies and solutions to grow and optimize their business. To be successful, you will take advantage of our community of consultants, via sharing solutions and utilizing your early access to technology. You’ll be part of something bigger, through unleashing the power of data and crafting solutions to meet customer needs. You will provide technical leadership for other consultant teams and engage in the complete lifecycle of large data-driven projects. • Optimize customers‘ current data solutions and infrastructure

• Implement data platform, business intelligence and analytics and multi-tier type solutions

• Take a leadership role on projectsdemonstrating experience handling projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes running multi-phase/multi-resource projects to conclusion while maintaining high customer satisfaction

• Have great communication skills, including customer relationships and expectations management

• Ability to focus on customers, create results, be proactive and collaborate with others

• Strong time, project and priority management skills

• Mentor other consultants to share your knowledge and experience

• Seek opportunities to drive and expand Consulting business by collaborating with multiple team members

• Ability to travel across EMEA when required (up to 25% when travel resumes)

Qualifications

Qualifications

You have experince technical expertise in an enterprise environment (ideally in a consuting capacity), having demonstrated skills leading teams designing and developing technology to solve business problems and help customers enhance existing applications. Your expertise should fall into one of the following areas: 

• SQL Server BI Stack (SSIS,SSAS,SSRS) or advanced database or advanced analytics experience

• Technical or architectural knowledge of at least 2 of the following areas preferred: 

• Database administration (preferably SQL Server)

• Database development (preferably with SQL Server, including Azure SQL) – designing and building database solutions (tables / stored procedures / forms / queries / etc.)

• Business intelligence – combining knowledge of BI technologies with a deep understanding of data structure / data models to design, develop, and tune BI solutions and reports

• Advanced data analytics – designing and building solutions using technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, HD Insights, SQL DWH, Stream Analytics, machine learning, R server, PowerBI. 

• Big Data implementation – using Open Source and Non-SQL technologies such as Databricks, Spark, Spark Streaming, Kafka, Storm, Zeppelin, Scala Software development, Hadoop Hive, Hadoop Map Reduce, Hadoop Clusters, Cosmos DB.

Additional experience/ qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (B.S./B.A.) in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience in a consulting role. 

• Fluency in English and local language if applicable. Ability to speak other languages a plus

• Ability to communicate with a variety of different audiences and strong presentation skills 

• Ability to quickly grasp customers’ business challenges and drive positive change
