Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a Senior Contract Hardware Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Contract Hardware Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the SoC and IP Development Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Contract Hardware Engineer Sr.

Location: Mountain View, CA (On-site)

What’s the Job?

• Design and implement high-speed PCIe designs and protocols in SoC and IP development.

• Develop and verify RTL using Verilog/System Verilog, focusing on Arteris NoC or similar NoC tools.

• Utilize front-end tools (Verilog simulators, CDC checkers, low power static checkers) for design and verification.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry-standard interface protocols (AXI, APB, etc.).

• Write and maintain scripts using Python, Tcl, Perl for automation and process improvement.

What’s Needed?

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

• 7+ years of related technical engineering experience.

• Proficiency in Verilog/System Verilog coding constructs.

• Strong experience with high-speed PCIe designs, industry-standard interface protocols, and ARM Fabric IPs.

• Must have a design background in Arteris NoC or other NoC tools, and proficiency with UPF and clock crossing techniques.
