Software Engineering Senior Advisors (Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc., Morris Plains, NJ): Provide technology leadership and delivery accountability for solutions for multiple concurrent information technology projects or programs for an application family (i.e. C360, ATK, Prior Auth, UM); Partner with multiple vendors to create estimates and delivery plans for projects or programs across an application family and ensure quality of technology delivery of multiple vendors’ technology solutions for multiple concurrent projects or programs for an application family; Partner with architects to set direction for maturing use of/retiring/adding technology components in the Company environment; Function as team leader for a large or complex unit with accountability for setting direction to mature the technology associated with the team, a key aspect of this being “tech debt” removal when possible; Maintain software application programs by coding, testing, and debugging documents; Provide technical guidance to work groups that are responsible for software development, design and quality testing, as well as for overseeing the writing and modifying of complex software application programs; Identify and implement process enhancement opportunities associated with supporting the application area; Implement actions to increase Company and vendor partner knowledge on team; Provide technical guidance to projects/programs for complex components of multiple technology suites; Lead efforts to develop standard practices, components, guidelines for use of complex technology components; and Lead actions to determine root cause of problems and drive resolution. Partial work from home benefit available.Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in any engineering field and 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Project Lead, or in a related occupation. Experience with: Analyzing requirements, designing and developing solutions; Preparing effort estimates and updating plans for project tasks; Leading project teams offshore; Identifying and fixing performance issues; and Using: Pega, Oracle, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, Java, VB, .Net, and ServiceNow.Send resumes to: Milind.Ghumre@evernorth.com
