Join us as an In-Plant HR Business Partner at our Serta Simmons Plant in Moreno Valley, CA, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all HR responsibilities for our plant and its dedicated workforce.

*Please note this role is considered an on-site HR position. *

How You'll Do It:

  • Implement programs to enhance employee experience, including administering the onboarding program.

  • Provide high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management.

  • Act as the primary contact for Leave of Absence, Payroll, Bonus Payments, Employee Referral payments, and Tuition Reimbursement inquiries.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for Worker’s Comp incidents, guiding employees through reporting, following up on status, and scheduling appointments.

  • Assist in proactive recruiting efforts by participating in candidate selection and placement, ensuring quality and timeliness of talent acquisition.

  • Collaborate with VP of HR and hiring managers to evaluate and update position descriptions and salary grade alignment.

  • Support implementation and administration of employee policies, identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Conduct periodic audits of ADP and HR SuccessFactors to ensure accuracy of org structure, cost centers, and job titles.

  • Deliver HR-related training to business partners and other stakeholders.

  • Create and distribute internal communications regarding various HR-related matters within the department.

  • Support talent management processes to foster employee development and retention.

  • Collaborate with HRVPs and leaders to enhance employee morale and company culture.

  • Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective actions as necessary.

  • Respond promptly and effectively to HR-related inquiries from employees and managers.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years related experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management, Business or related field; MBA a plus

  • PHR Preferred

  • Ability to build credibility with all levels of the organization

  • Detail oriented

  • Critical skills include: motivation, initiative, thoroughness, decision making and planning skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Experience with LEAN processes and tools

  • Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors systems and Microsoft Office applications

  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced organization experiencing transformation

  • Must be able to commute and work on-site in the plant location.

  • The hours for this position will be 7am-4:30pm PST

The hiring salary range for this position applies to where legally required, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
