Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment - Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures - Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks - Ability to work well in a team setting - High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma is a plus
Responsibilities: - Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies - Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) - Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff - Answer, report, and follow instructions from the Head Chef or Sous Chef - Clean up station and take care of leftover food - Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion - Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Physical Requirements: - Ability to stand for extended periods - Ability to lift and carry heavy items - Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment - Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
